Acoustics - Violin Handcrafted Mixed Media Collage - Original Art Collage on Wood Panel

An art collage on an 1870s engraving of Acoustics (Form of a Sound Wave). The hand-cut coloured violins are Stradivarius from 1910 (printed in the USA), while the small black violin is a modern piece from Japan. The sides are painted black, and interspersed with Rossi Italian luxury paper, hand-stamped, and hand-embossed with gold for a lovely distressed look. Rossi paper from Italy on portions of the sides and on the entire back panel. This collage is mounted on a 1.5-inch, so it can easily stand on a table or shelf. Meticulously executed. Signed en verso.
