Carpet Diem - Seize the Carpet

A paper art collage made using a lithograph of a Persian carpet from a 1925 German publication (complete with German Fraktur text at bottom), a hand-cut from 1935, Japanese beaded string, and green Swarovski crystals. The artwork is mounted on a recycled stiff museum-quality beveled art mat with hand-distressed edges. Sustainable art at its finest.

The artwork comes already mounted for a standard 14" x 18" frame. Framing option available, too.
