The Concorde was a supersonic aircraft developed by a joint British and French venture. It was part of Air France and British Airways livery. At a cruising altitude of up to 60,000 feet, you could fly from Paris to New York in 3.5 hours.

This is an original one-of-a-kind, signed map artwork, made using a genuine 1980s image of a Concorde from a vintage National Geographic magazine (see last photo for partial magazine image) and an upcycled 1924 map of Paris. The die-cut PARIS lettering was inspired by the lettering used at Charles de Gaulle airport and is handpainted in dark blue. The vapour trails at the tail of the aircraft are also handpainted.

All four sides of the wooden block are painted white in a smooth finish.

Size: approx. 11 inches x 14 inches x 1.5 inches (28 cm x 35.5 cm x 4 cm)

Bespoke airport codes upon request, using our huge collection of broken antique maps.

Handcrafted in Canada.
