The ladies weren't quite sure what to wear to the Governor's Ball Bearing so they tried on different valves. A paper art collage made using stop valve engravings from the March 13, 1875 edition of the Scientific American and handcoloured fashion engravings from 1880s. The background is recycled end paper from the late 1800s. Sustainable art at its finest.
