Larger Square Journal/Bag Charm - 1960s Space Exploration Postage Stamp from DDR/East Germany
A larger square glass pendant with a 1960s postage stamp of space exploration from the DDR, aka German Democratic Republic aka East Germany.
The reverse of the pendant is covered with a late 1800s handmade marbled paper and is lacquered for protection. A 925 sterling silver rocket ship charm is attached to the bottom of the glass pendant. Once you have ordered, a clasp will then be attached (as in photo 4) so you can hook the pendant as an ornament to your journal. The clasp is already included in the price. Only sterling silver hardware was used in the making of this pendant. The prices of the pendants vary, depending on the weight of the silver charms and not on the size of the glass used.
Comes in a specially designed gorgeous hand-stamped, hand-embossed keepsake box that mimics the stamp design.
Glass size: approx. 1.37 inches (35 mm) square
For birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings, bridal showers, and other lifetime events. You can customize and personalize this with your choice of place and theme. The pendant is wearable, too!
Please note:The glass used was not made in-house. The glass may have slight imperfections, but they do not detract from the overall beauty and craftsmanship of the pendant. Also, the pendant-making process did not involve any soldering for the sterling silver hardware. Nevertheless, the pendant is quite sturdy.
